Recreational Club Competition 2024

This competition is suitable for everyone who is receiving this email as your child takes a 1hr Recreational Class.

The competition will involve gymnasts performing 8 skills on floor, beam and vault. These are all things they have been learning in their weekly sessions and the coaches will select their level for the event and the skills they will perform.

The participants should be able to attend 2 practice sessions as part of the preparation for the event. Ideally, these will be one on two separate dates.

There will be viewing at the event for two spectators per gymnast. The cost of this is included within the entry fee. Siblings under 3 years of age, can be accommodated in addition to the two spectators, if they are happy to sit on their grown-ups lap.

Gymnasts will ideally wear a club short sleeved leotard or shorts and club t-shirt. Both the Club Participation Leotard and Club T-Shirts are available to purchase from our website. Please note from order to delivery can take up to 8 weeks, so ordering immediately is essential.

Please Note: No Refunds will be given under any circumstances. Entries must be made by the closing date of the 3rd June.

Due to a system anomaly, please be aware that the time when booking the competition will show as 9am. However, the actual start time of the competition will not be confirmed until approx. 2 weeks before. So please hold the full day 9am-6pm in your diaries, the time slot your child is given, will be set and cannot be changed.

Gymnasts will ideally wear a club leotard, if they already own one. Alternatively, your child is permitted to wear a non-club leotard or shorts and t-shirt. 

Please Note: No Refunds will be given under any circumstances. Entries must be made by the closing date of the 27th May.

To enter the event, follow the instructions below-

1.     From the calendar, select the number of children you wish to enter.

2.     Select your first pre training session. Click “add a time.”

3.     Select your second pre-training session. Click “add a time.”

4.     Select the competition day of 16th July (Due to a system anomaly, please be aware that the time will show as 12am. However, the actual start time of the competition will not be confirmed until approx. 2 weeks before. So please hold the full day 9am-6pm in your diaries, the time slot your child is given, will be set and cannot be changed.

3. Select “continue” and follow the steps for payment (£36 per gymnast)
